Personal: Angela 'Lena' Rosales was one of 3 kids produced from the relationship of Ricardo Fausto and Sylvia Rosales. Lena was born in the Philippine Island of Negros Occidental and is thus a full-blooded Philippino! When Lena was a child, she attended School and helped her mother tend to her fish market and worked very long hard hours. As she grew older, she had aspirations of bettering herself and decided to leave the small village in Negros and to relocate to the bigger city of Manilla. After staying breifly in Manilla, she relocated once again to a suburb outside of Manilla called Pompanga. Lena settled in there as she was then going to a Dress Making Technical school. She worked part-time in another food market supporting her School Tuition. She hoped to one day get into Fashion Designing. Over time, she produced 2 children through 2 relationships that unfortunately went sour. Their names are Hilario 'Jig-Jig' Rosales and Patrick 'Lik-Lik' Rosales. Both of her children, now adults, live and work in the Philippines as they have their own families to support. During the Summer of 1975, Lena met her future husband to be, yours truly, Mark Powell, while he was stationed at Clark Air Base. They dated for over a year, until Mark Left to go on another assignment back to the States in San Antonio, Texas. The year was then 1976-1977. Lena and Mark kept in touch over time, until one point in 1978, Mark had received a new set of orders to go back Overseas, this time to Guam. While there, Lena and Mark made arrangements to get married, and the rest is history!! To this day, both Lena and Mark have been married going on 25 years!! Between them, they have produced 2-children, Milaan Angelo Powell and Aandrea Llana Powell . Since Lena first came to the States in 1980, she has since learned how to drive, saw her first 'Snow Flakes', Purchased her own car, and started working...! She started out working performing various dutites in several Convalescent centers over the years, and has since changed occupations to currently working as a Warehouse Auditing Clerk for the Value City Department Store. She's now been there for over 5 years and in 1 more year, she will be fully Vested!! Yes, Lena has come a Llllooong way from the tiny village of Negros Occidental.........!!
