Billy grew up in the Southern State of North Carolina. He attended the Ohio State University and later enlisted in the U.S. Army in which he went on to become a ranked officer (Colonel). He served duty in WWII and retired in 1967. Billy died of Natural causes at the age of 65. He is survived by his wife Mary, and all their kids [Wilma, Mary, Bill, Wayne , and George ].
